Happy 17th Birthday Christopher Camcam

September 30, 2011 - Today is Christopher Nicholas Joaquin Camcam's birthday! and I've decided to make a post for him. You know, i'm a such a big fan. If you have still remembered my first post about Christopher, it was when after their visit here in Cebu. Actually, there are 2 posts, the other one was when he replied to me on Twitter (All thanks to @CAMCAMs_Army) plus he posted on my wall after when he read about my post (The Die-Hard Fan Experience).

Happy Birthday! Wish you have a good day. Be happy always and don't forget to smile every time. Thanks for making us (your fans) feel so special. I will never forget the day when you gave me a silly band, it was your visit here in Ayala, Cebu. You threw me one of your silly bands from your hand. Camcam made my day!

Yesterday, I kept on asking @CAMCAMs_Army (Camcam's Fans Club) about Camcam. Like, where does he study, how many are they in the family, and does he play basketball?

I didn't expect Camcam would answer that and mention me. I shouted really loud early in the morning. =))

23 hours ago, I PM'd Camcam on his Facebook (yes, we are friends :D) about my post, The Die-Hard Fan Experience. I didn't know he would notice or read my post. I just found out earlier, he saw, read, and loved it. I only got 1 notification when I got home and it's from Camcam.. "Christopher Joaquin Camcam posted on your Wall."

The time when I view it.. I WAS SHOCKED! AND FELT GAY! I CRIED. :"<

P.S.: If you don't know Camcam. He's the youngest player in the Philippine National Football Team (Azkals), Goal Keeper. He's only 16 years old :)

The Die-Hard Fan Experience

I first saw Camcam on TV (I still don't know his name before). It was Monday, Meet & Greet with the Azkals. Symel tells me about a guy who looks like Elmo Magalona, a cutie and etc. (Symel, Geraldine and other friends went to the Azkals' practice @ Aboitiz field(morning) before the Meet & Greet(afternoon)). I was intrigued of what she said, so from that moment, I was too excited to meet the Azkals!

When the Azkals was @ the venue already, Camcam was the first one we saw (though Neil was the first one who came out and called by the emcee). I got a HIGH FEVER! He really looks like Elmo Magalona! (You know, I like Elmo a lot, as in, a LOT!) So when the emcee called 'Christopher Camcam', my heart skipped a beat, and my eyes won't turn to anyone except for him. *He's an angel sent from above*

*Funny fact: I really don't know all of them except, Neil Etheridge, Aly Borromeo, Phil and James Younghusband. I always ask Geraldine for their names. Haha

Okay back to the story. I think we were the loudest fans cheering for Camcam! Others were cheering for Phil, James and Neil. But us, we are for Camcam! We got flattered because he noticed us. We were shouting "WE LOVE YOU CAMCAM!", and wanna know what he did for a reply? He just looked at us and waved his hands :| wala man lang smile :( Maybe because he was tired or what.. we shouted again asking his age.. "HOW OLD ARE YOU CAMCAM?" at first, he didn't hear it, he did a put-the-hands-near-the-ears-action (haha sorry for that). we shouted again and finally, he replied "16". Yes, we are a fan girls who got kilig after he replied.

I love the Team Azkals!

My friend, Geraldine, invited me/us(my other friends) to go to the Philippine National Football Team, Azkals' Meet & Greet @ Ayala Center Cebu, Monday, May 30, 2011 (Yes, she bought us passes. (Though I'm not really a BIG fan of Azkals).) And fortunately, after the Meet & Greet, I'm beyond happy to say that I'm one of the biggest fans of the team already! Meeting the Azkals was a great opportunity. They did some football tricks and it amazes the people who were watching them. I'm so proud to be a Filipino, proud to be that we have players like them. :)

And also, we wanted to thank all the Azkals for signing our notebooks and shirts. It really made our day! We are wishing for the success of their career and more wins! Woop Let's Kick This! Leggo Team Azkals!
