Harlequinade Masquerade Prom

This was the best prom ever and for sure I'll never forget it. Sad to say, this will be our last (for the Seniors) and I know it doesn't end there. So, I'm going to tell you what happened during that night. K, so Im assigned in technicals (sound system. You know, SSG) and you know what? and I'm almost late. When I got to the hotel, I am still not in my gown because I did my make up at Dayme's house. I rashly went to Abby's room and directly changed my outfit.

When I got to the venue, I signed up for registration and got my invitation card. The sweat of my face is starting to fall.. But good thing is I got tissues in my purse. In a while, our School Director told us to form our lines for the Processionals (some of my classmates and schoolmates were late). And of course, I got my tallest partner ever, Lester Elarcosa (who is very tall even if I wore my suuper high heels). And yeah, camera's were in (but I doesn't have one). Photos were from my classmates and schoolmates. I'll put credits :)))))

And of course, I didn't expect to have an award. I was the Best Performer of the night for Girls and Marvie Rublica for boys. Well, that made me so shocked. But yeah, Im so thankful for the judges who saw me performed well.

with Estelle, Best in Mask, Joane, Angelique and the Prom Queen, Erlyn Rosales (I'm so proud of her! )

Oh well, I had the best night eveeeeeer. Plus, my mom allowed me to go overnight with my classmates at the hotel (actually we stayed at the complimentary room. we got two rooms all in all). I love all the people who went to the prom. I love all the Juniors, I am going to miss them all,  and of course, to all the Seniors, who made it really memorable. THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU!

The Name of this Book is Secret by Pseudonymous Bosch

Oh hi! I just bought a book from National Book Store that I really wanted to buy, "The Name of this Book is Secret". This book caught my attention because of the cover and the title. Yes, its weird, because this is a story about a secret but it also contains a secret story. This book is for young readers (or in other words for children) but I don't care because  I find it interesting..

Let me show you the cover --

Plot: (From Wikipedia)
The story starts when real-estate agent for the dead named Gloria finds a mysterious box in a magician's house called, The Symphony of Smells, and gives it to Cass and her substitute grandfathers. Cass is an outcast misfit in her school until she stumbles across another misfit, Max-Ernest, who talks too much and has divorced parents but whom are still living in the same house.

Cass and Max-Ernest become collaborators and investigate the dead magician's - Pietro Bergamo - house only to get caught by a young couple; but not before they find a mysterious journal hidden in a secret room.Later the couple comes to their school looking for them but find a synesthete boy named Benjamin Blake after they examine a piece of art painted by him on display in the school. After initially loathing him, Cass decides its her job to save him. However, during this time, Cass and Max-Ernest stop being collaborators because of a petty issue. After leafing through some spa brochures collected by her mother, Cass decides to pose as one of the Skelton Sisters, a lip gloss company, and calls The Midnight Sun spa to pick her up in a limousine. As the driver pulled into the spa, she told her that The Midnight Sun spa is said to be a pyramid with a "gleaming orb of light at the summit".While being escorted to her suite, she spots Gloria in a younger form lounging about a pool. Gloria is oblivious to the truth and is enjoying her stay.Cass then meets Owen, a stuttering servant who sets up her room and tries to make her comfortable. Cass finds Owen the most likable out of all those at the spa.Later that night Owen comes into Cass's room, speaking with a strange accent and no stutter, a notable characteristic he had when she last met him. Max-Ernest and Cass reunite as Owen leaves to go about some business and they discover that the goal of the Midnight Sun is to achieve eternal youth. The duo save Benjamin and a fire breaks out, but before it is implied that Ms. Mauvais' conspirator Dr. L is Pietro Bergamo's brother Luciano.Owen meets up with Max-Ernest, Cass and Benjamin and they all speed away from the spa in the limousine as the light from the orb atop the pyramid dims and eventually goes out. Along the way home the limo nearly crashes into a truck. When the driver exits the vehicle, he is found to be Grandpa Larry and his dog looking for Cass.Owen sets off on his own in the limo while Benjamin, Cass, and Max-Ernest drive home with Grandpa Larry. Cass and Max-Ernest become collaborators again shortly before the end.

Well, I didn't read the plot though. I am on Chapter one and a half of the book already (lol) haha, so im starting to focus in reading this book so that  I could finish it early. I found a new book, Bleed by Laurie Faria Stolarz and i'm going to buy it maybe next week.

Upcoming Prom '11

Oh, Hi! Our Juniors' and Seniors' promenade is fast approaching. O-M-G! Well, Im quite excited because this is our last prom in high school and probably the most memorable. So, our theme is Masquerade, of course, we will wear mask! hahahahaha. Im still thinking of what to wear. I'm going to a designer tomorrow together with my classmate for our prom gowns. WOW! Yes, we're going to wear ball gowns. Yay, last year, I wore a mermaid prom dress and it was cool. By the way, last year, Jech passed the Torch of Wisdom to me, and of course this year, I am going to pass it to Yvonne (a Junior). And oh, as far as I remember, last year was still memorable because of my heels ( I don't want to talk about it).

These past few days, we were practicing for our upcoming prom and hopefully we could finish it early. After all the hard works from our stage play, now we're focusing for our prom. Oh wait, I almost forgot, we still have an upcoming activity which is the Teachers' day this coming Feb. 14, 2011. Where, teachers are going to stay in the faculty and do nothing, and the students will become teachers. I am assigned to be the School Principal (which I didn't expect). So, I hope our plans would be successful! I know God will make a way!

I Just Wanna Run

It was Sunday afternoon and we got bored so my cousin, Ate Jaiza decided to take a photo-shoot with me. And of course, who doesn't like it? Ate Jaiza got her camera and took photos of me. I love how to camera lies. Yea baby! Here are the photos..

This pose was the hardest!

All thanks to my cousin, Ate Jaiza, who taught me how to do poses. She was the former beauty queen in their hometown, band majorite and etc.
